Smash cake suggestions
Hi all. I need a smashcake for a 1st birthday photo shoot on Saturday. I called my go-to bakery and they want $45 for one. Does anyone have a suggestion for a bakery I can get a nice one for (much) less?? I'm in Bellmore. Thanks so much!

Shop rite or Stop n Shop..should be less than $10
It might be too late but usually photographers work with a baker and the cost is around $25

I got a cake from Stop and Shop too. Like a little mini cake. It was perfect and I was spending so much on the session that I couldn't justify paying money for a custom cake to be destroyed.

I got a giant cupcake from Dortoni. It was 1.5 years ago, but I think it was $25. You have to order it. For DD1, I got a small cake covered in rosettes. I can't recommend the place anymore, but you could get that at Dortoni too.
Eta- this is the cake I ordered from Dortoni.

I got a very mini cake, like maybe 4 or 5 inch diameter, from Stop and Shop, for about $5.
