LI Museums?
It's a friends bday this weekend. I was gonna take him to the Met but ended up having a family event at night so we're going to stay local. Any cute museums on Long Island we can go to? I was gonna drag him to the vineyards but he doesn't absolutely *love* wine so I feel eh about it.

How about Sagamore Hill, Teddy Roosevelt's House? It was recently refurbished too.
For art, the Nassau County Museum of Art actually has a pretty decent collection.

LI Museums?
The LI Museum in Stony Brook is kind of fun. It has old carriages, and a little village set up, with things like a blacksmith, old school house. Etc. I think their is a small art gallery too. Overall it's much much smaller than the Met though, but there is a cute little shoping center nearby with some little cafes, and a duck pond with a walking trail too.

Then the Oyster Bay Brewing Company is a short drive away.
