How bad is the ice by you?

Everything in my yard is frozen solid... even the snow is ice. The forecast doesn't show it getting above freezing until the weekend (it may hit 33 or 34, but that doesn't really count)

Drove to work at 4:30am, south shore Suffolk, roads were fine, car doors were frozen though, haha.

I took an Uber to the train. Car is surrounded by ice. Even if it wasn't, chances of finding a safe spot for my car by the train would've been a challenge. The train station is all Ice and you have to step on a mound to even get to the sidewalk. Good job MTA

Looks like the North Pole. DH had to break OUT of the house today. Our front door was frozen shut

I'm in Bayside Queens, right by the water.
It's bad.
Couldn't get the sheet of ice off the top of the SUV, so we left it there while DH drove me to the train.
Everything is a sheet of ice, streets, walkways.

City looks like crap too, can't get over the crosswalks.

Roads were OK where I am (Nassau). Our steps, driveway, and sidewalk are sheets of ice though. I told DH to go out with salt this morning.

I'm in Queens (East Elmhurst area) and it's really, really bad. I tried to get my car out yesterday, but the snow was too hard to move. Very icy.

Roads were fine driving from nassaus to Suffolk. However sidewalks were a mess walking my dog this morning. People who shoveled and didn't salt have a sheet of ice, people who didn't shovel have. Block of ice, good luck cleaning that.

The roads were perfection by me this morning. I got to work super fast and everything is just bone dry with a heavy coating of white salt.

everything is frozen. Hailey and i walked to school this morning because my car is frozen solid. It took me a minute to get the door open. But the windshield is 4" thick with ice.

The roads were fine, but I have to walk about 2 blocks to my job from a municipal lot, and the sidewalks are atrocious. Ice, snow piles. basically walked in the street and then had to find a decent cut out to get into the building.

I knew the slush would turn to ice.

Sometimes its worse to shovel because then it becomes a thin layer of ice; which is worse.

I keep looking ahead for the forecast temps; hoping I see a 50.......but nothing close in sight.

i've spent the past 2 hours trying to dig my car out of the ice. no luck.

I'm in northeast Queens, by Nassau border. Everything is a sheet of ice. Main roads were fine of course but sidewalks and parking lot are all ice. I work at a University and the clean up job here is awful. They are still plowing the lots when I pulled in. All ice here. But I can't blame the crew, it was a bad storm. But they should have definitely had a delayed opening here to get the lots and pathways a little more safer. I would have much preferred the 2ft of snow than this ice crap.

I actually expected it to be a lot worse. My driveway is an absolute mess, but the roads were clear and dry. I live in Islip and work in Stony Brook. There was a little bit of ice in the parking lot, but nothing too bad. I think my yard is the worst of all.
