Tattoo - inner finger
I'd like to get a tattoo on the inside of my finger. But all I read is horror stories about how tattoos on hands are bad and even worse on the inside of the finger because it wears off.
Does anyone have an inside finger tattoo? Has it held up for you?

Re: Tattoo - inner finger
My DH has our wedding date on his ring finger, he got it 2008, and it still looks great! I make him put Vaseline on it after he gets out of the shower so there's a barrier between his tattoo and ring, not sure if it's actually helped or not, but I figure it hasn't hurt!

Tattoo - inner finger
I wanted one, I'm in Selden and could not find any local tattoo shop that would do it for me. My DH got my first initial on top of his ring finger and it took a while to find someone who would even do that.

Thanks. This is also what i've heard online. It fades and finding someone to do it is hard because artists don't want to be 'responsible' for when it starts to fade and look like crap.
Ugh, but the location is perfect!

The skin is different on certain parts of the body that make it difficult to tattoo. That being said you can always find an artist to do it. I personally would not because 99% of any hand tattoo i have seen doe snot look good over time.

My friend has a tattoo on the inside of her finger and it was her first one and it looks great.
She has great pale skin for tattoos though.

Not the one in Selden, the one in Centereach had one guy willing to do it only on the top of the finger. There was a long wait though. He ended up at Cliff's and a guy there did it. Kelvin I believe. But he said he doesn't do the inside of the finger.
