We did last year. I think 3.5 is a perfect age.

Re: Anyone been to Legoland in Westchester?
It is not enough of an event to make a weekend of it, but it absolutely is a great day trip. Would you make a weekend out of the Bronx zoo?

Re: Anyone been to Legoland in Westchester?
I've heard it's cute but small.
I don't know about hotels but it's in Yonkers, which isn't exactly what I would consider a tourist destination

There are good restauarants around there and there are a few new hotels. You could make a weekend if you did bronx zoo too or something else in the area.

The Westchester Marriott isn't far from there, has a nice indoor pool that is surrounded by bamboo.

Re: Anyone been to Legoland in Westchester?
You could easily spend the day there and have lunch at one of the restaurants at Ridge Hill. If you want to stay overnight, you could always do the children's museum at Rye Playland the next day. Or if you're willing to drive a little further, you could do Stepping Stones (bigger children's museum) or the Maritime Aquarium- both in Norwalk, CT

yeah, its more of a half day/few hours thing.
Not bad, I'd look for coupons to get in cheaper than full price. We did a day trip, went there, had dinner, its in a shopping mall, so we wandered.
Its not worth an overnight by itself.
