Bill Levkoff Bridesmaid Dresses (added question)

Anyone have any experiences ordering a Bill Levkoff bridesmaid dress and how long it took the dress to come in, and alter, etc. I am in a wedding 4.5 months from now and I was just told by the bride now what dress to get (for both me and my DD who is flower girl). I am worried this may not be enough time but wanted to get some feedback from those that have actually ordered from this particular designer.

its been a long time since i've ordered dresses..lol.
you are probably still ok on timing. when the shop places the order they may tell you there is a rush fee.
i wouldnt wait much longer to order though.

You should allow 12 weeks for delivery.

I did bill levkoff dresses for my wedding. My cousin worked for him and we got them at wholesale. I don't entirely remember timing, but it was probably around 3 months.

We ordered in October for a May wedding. The came in by April. Factories in China close is the reason they told me.

I orderednin may for an April wedding. Dress came in within 8 weeks. I had hem for my wedding came in within 6 weeks

you should be fine.. my bridesmaids got that designer, and the best price was through burton's bridals in melville. They got all different styles from the designer, and were $140-160. They were over $200 everywhere else

I would just go as soon as possible so you can try to avoid any rush fees. You could get an idea if you look up the dress on bestbridalprices.com. When I ordered from them, they gave a fairly accurate shipping estimate.

I ordered a bill levkoff dress from here comes the bridesmaid. They recently opened in Bethpage and also have a location in NYC

I ordered November 17th and the dress came to my house February 12th

So roughly a little under 3 months

Thanks all. I ordered the dresses and they are estimating it to come in a month before the wedding, I hope that is enough time for alterations!

Also wanted to add a question about sizing- they had me order two sizes up than my regular clothes size. Did anyone else have this experience? I'm just afraid the dress will be huge and no time to alter.. the sample in the store was my normal size and it was a bit too tight so I'm thinking one size up would have been good, but they told me they go by measurement on the designers size chart.

Normal. Bm dresses usually run two sizes small.

They can definitely alter it within a month of the wedding - plenty of time. And BM dresses usually run small , so 2 sizes from your street clothes size won't be a problem at all

You will be fine with alterations. They literally had to remake my sister's dress since she was pregnant for my brother's wedding and it only took 3-4 weeks.

I got my alterations done at the cleaners by my house I literally had it the next day. Don't stress Everything will work out.
