Atlantis - meal plan?
Wondering if anyone has experience with Atlantis and whether the meal plan is worth it. The cost up front seems pretty crazy ($400 per day per adult) but if the food is that expensive maybe it's worth it? One other thing to consider is that with a paying adult, kids eat free with the meal plan. TIA!

Re: Atlantis - meal plan?
That is crazy expensive for just a meal plan!
Food isn't cheap but it isn't that expensive. We ate at Mesa Grill and Nobu and I think our bill was probably $300ish but that was for a family of 4, not just 1 person. There are some reasonably priced restaurants too. We ate at a mix of restaurants including Johnny Rockets, pizza and bagel store.
I would not get a meal plan for $400 pp. That is nuts.

Thank you! I thought so too but I heard it's pretty expensive there so I figured I should ask.

I recommend getting a grocery delivery. I think we used garden grocer? We got fresh fruit, water, juice, milk, snacks and a few breakfast items. It was more for convenience but also cost effective.

Atlantis - meal plan?
Dont do the meal plan unless its the upgraded one. Meal Plan (the cheaper one) isnt worth it. We traveled with a family who did the meal plan and were tired of the options after 2 days. You can also order some things on food store 2 go dot com

Re: Atlantis - meal plan?
We did the meal plan. Not suRe how much we spent... I think $100 per adult, but It was definitely worth it. We traveled with 2 kids who ate "free". Breakfast alone was very $$$ and I don't think there are many reasonable options on the resort. Worthwhile to look up prices. Dinner was about $70-$100 PP for apps and entree 5 years ago, except for Virgils BBQ (which was the only reasonable place I remember). The restaurants are very nice and the meals were excellent... but crazy expensive.
Google around and see if you can find prices. We traveled with 2 small kids and the "eat free" option was key for us. We don't gamble and it rained a lot our week, so we were looking forward to dinners.
I also think it's $170 per adult now (per the website). You just have to do the math after googling today's prices.
Lol. I thought Atlantis was a total rip off.
