Pacifier/ soothie
I would have never given my twins a pacifier. When in the NICU, they gave it to one twin so they asked if they could give it to the other- I told them well you gave it to one already... and now, these 2 are OBSESSED with the stupid pacifier I could rip my hair out... they suck on them all the time the only problem is they spit it out every few minutes and the scream until the pacifier goes back in. I can't take it anymore all night all day crying for this pacifier- then both of them. How do you guys get the pacifier to stay in their mouths?

Another wubbanub vote. They are still really little now so it's just going to be a battle to keep it in for awhile. But once they get a bit bigger and can grab it themselves, the wubbanub is a lifesaver. DD can find that wubbanub while she's dead asleep in a dark room in the middle of the night.

Wubba nubs both of my kids uses them when we took the pacifier away we just cut the pacifier off and let them keep the doll. Make sure you get a back up so you can wash them

Definitely. I have four! And only one kid!
But they wash well!

How old are your twins? I had to put the paci in DD's mouth nonstop until she learned to do it herself. It was the only way I could get her to sleep/calm down, but it was exhausting. Now I'm nearing the "when should we take it away" phase. If your babies are still tiny, you can just take it away and they won't remember it. Object permanence doesn't kick in for a while.

My son was given a pacifier in the NICU. He always spit it out. I did not really want him to have one. When he came home, I just stopped giving it to him. He was fine. How old are they?

Re: Pacifier/ soothie
My DS was given one in the NICU as well. I tried it at home for a few days and gave up when he kept spitting it out. Eventually he found his hand/fingers to suck on instead.
