Good question! We lost a bid on a house but the woman's heating bill for dec jan feb was 950+ each month House itself was 3,800 sq

How much is your heating bill per month ?
about 3000SF. We get our oil tank filled about once a month for $400 but we overpay for our oil and I know it. We get if filled from Nov - Mar for 5 months at about $400 per. and 1 random fill between Mar and Nov. So oil costs us about $2400 per year.

How much is your heating bill per month ?
1000 Sq feet. We don't do balanced billing so it varies. We just got a delivery this morning and the bill was 315. Last delivery was about 6 weeks ago. We paid about 250 in October for the delivery before that. Dh and I were just talking about it actually, definitely less than usual since we have a better rate this year but it's also been so warm which helps.

About 1300 sq feet. We are on balanced billing and pay $225 a month but we had 3 free months at the end of the cycle because we were so far ahead. They didn't adjust it for some reason this year but will still be ahead since our rate went down.

In the summer, for May, June, July, and August it was $20 per month. December was $225. November was $175. I expect January and February to be about 225-250 depending upon how cold it is. 2300 sq feet home. For a full year I would say it is about $1000 for gas heat.

There are so many variables but our house is a colonial and ~2500 sqft. We have oil heat and do COD, no contract. I just checked and for all of our deliveries in 2016, we spent around $1200 for the whole year so an average of $100 per month. But we obviously fill up more in the winter months so we pay more then and less in the summer.
We are actually having a new oil tank and hot water heater installed as I type and it should be more efficient.

What did she have her heat set at? My grandparents had high bills but they kept it like a damn sauna in there.

No clue. There was a gas fireplace in the kitchen. One night when she came home from work when I was there she turned it on and sat in the kitchen watching tv while we toured the house. She's from the south so I'm assuming she wants no part of NY winter. Ohwell. Didn't win the war on that home.

Of course I can't post a photo of the utilities. Last jan-feb was 938.66 it's for gas and electric. Gas was 770.80

1300sqft 3 level split gas heat we don't do balanced billing highest bill was 139 when we had that massive cold snap last February. Average in winter is $90
