My emotion for today :( not getting my bonus
I worked hard all year carrying my caseload plus, plus, as well as my co-workers case load on a daily basis.
Everyone in my dept got but me. HR said I was not on the list this yr. Such bull sh$$, its because I am leaving so now she (owner) does not want to give it.
this is the kind of company that will have someone take their vacation then fire them the day they are suppose to return to work
leaves such a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm so sorry, my husband had this happen to him as well in august. I can tell you that he is so much happier, and ended up getting a big bump in his pay from his new company, so it worked out so much better for him and I hope it does for you as well!

It sucks but I don't think that's really so uncommon - the company has no motovation to keep you or make you happy, so from their perspective it's a waste of money.

most companies see the bonus as their incentive to keep you. Honestly, the only way to get it is quite after it is given out. I am sorry to say you sort of sold yourself short on this one. It does stink though.

I think a lot of companies do that. They view it as an incentive to continue to work hard not as a reward for what you've done.
