Wine recommendations
l need to make some small Christmas gifts. Im a white wine drinker so looking for red wine recommendations. Ideally would like to stay around $15/bottle

If you stick with Long Island wine, go with a 2010
You can't go wrong with Portuguese wine (Douro region) it's so underrated in the states. But stick with a 2012.
Any red wine by mirrasou is great. It's approx $9 a bottle. This is what we serve during dinner.
You can go to stew Leonard's and ask their recs as well. Very knowledgable staff.

I am a fan of Lesse Fitch Cab - is def under 15.00. I personally would not buy LI wines. They really aren't very good and not cheap.

Agree. LI wines actually suck IMO

In case you're into any different kinds, I just bought a case of apothic inferno. It's so good. Red wine aged in whisky barrels
