Does she have cats? Even if she doesn't get her the pusssy licker, a rubber attachment for your tongue so you can lick and groom your cat... Tell her to be creative.

I really have to be careful reading this at work and drinking coffee at the same time.

Payback would be a bottle of Two Buck Chuck or a box of Gallo, although Beringer White Zin is just about the same.

She's a jerk. Do you need to reveal who you are when presents are exchanged?

We always do. Not always in front of everyone, but everyone will always ask who had them. I wish it was completely anonymous. It would be much more fun.

Going to be in the minority here (although I 100% would be annoyed and hurt). The holidays can be super hard on people. It's one of the most depressing and stressful times of year for some for a whole host of reasons. I would think maybe that's the cause. People act out sometimes.

I wouldn't get a gag gift or anything. I would get a nice gift as planned and include a nice card. Sometimes that does the trick.

While this might be true, if it is a tough time for you, don't volunteer for the secret santa event and then be rude....

Yes, I'd say a $5 gallon Jug of Carlo Rossi would be just the gift Chat Icon

Buy her a target card on your next run and say, "you didn't give me much to work with." Done.

Unfortunately sometimes people won't take no for an answer. They've tried to do this at places I've worked at and I never wanted to participate. I'd say "No thanks" but that's not good enough for people. They will hound you for days until you participate. So sometimes you give in just to get people to shut up.

maybe she is stressing over the idea of having to buy a gift. I actually hate this as well.

OP does she normally behave in this manner?

She's an adult. Especially at work, she should learn to keep her tantrums to a minimum.
