Can you use a sleep sack if the baby moves around?
With the colder temps coming I am wondering if I will need to use a sleep sack to keep my 5 month old DD warm. The room can be a bit chilly and then with the heat its sooo hot. Very hard to regulate. She moves around a ton tho so can I still use a sleep sack? We never did with DD#1 so I am clueless. Thx.

Yes. DD used to get up and walk around her crib in the sleep sack when she started walking. It was hilarious to watch

Yes! We still use a sleep sack at almost 2 granted to is a sleep sack for walkers and his feet are out but I am too nervous to give him a blanket yet!

Yes it's perfect for when they're moving bc they can't kick it off. My almost 2yo still wears one every night and nap.

Yes, but not with the arm swaddles. Dd2 hated th sleep sack though because she couldn't move around they way she wanted to, so we put her in fleece stretchies when it was really cold.

My dd used a sleep sack until about 2 1/2! Dh called them magic capes bc as soon as we put them on she was ready for bed! I got the ones with foot holes when she started walking.

ds is 5 months tomorrow and he's rolling and kicking around. He uses one now and will continue for a while

Can you use a sleep sack if the baby moves around?
Yes! DS was in a sleep sack last winter and he had just turned 2. I think it will still fit him this year so I plan on using it again and he is 2.5 His room gets chilly and he rarely keeps the blankets on!

Are there special toddler sleep sacks? Or is it just the ones infants use but in a bigger size?

Halo has toddler sleep sacks with holes for their feet
ETA: I think you can only buy them online. I've never seen Them in stores

I just bought an XL size for my 21 month old. He loves his sleep sack and as soon as he sees it he knows it's bed time. I got the regular one without the feet and he is able to stand up in it when in his crib.
