Re: Enough food?

I would prefer to have too much then to run out of food. So personally, I may increase the chicken order (if it will be just put out on a table as opposed to served, because adults may grab a piece of chicken too) and I would add another sub or get larger ones. If they only serve 12-15 people, that means people get one piece and that is it. If someone were to take two (one of each kind), or if one of the kids prefers the sub, you will run out. Being that is the main meal you are serving and the rest are sides, I would want to be certain to have enough

I agree.

I think chances are you are completely fine but I might add a tray of hot food - ziti, etc.

Yep. I see that you have pasta salad, but I'd do a hot option. Baked Ziti or lasagna.

Sounds delicious!

I would increase both the heroes and the chicken by a bit. Some adults will eat chicken; some kids will eat heroes.

I agree. I would definitely order something else. I would rather have too much then not enough. Running out of food for company is one of my biggest fears haha

I usually go by the lower number of suggested servings to judge how much food to get - based on that, you just barely have the right amount (but not really quite enough), so I would definitely add something else or add a considerable amount more to the tray of chicken. (I don't count the sides when figuring out the amount of food to get)

I agree. Especially with subs. Lately I notice that there are always a few people that take 3 or 4 pieces of the sandwich because they don't eat the bread (because carbs are bad lol). The past 2 parties I've been to, the sandwich ran out first leaving some people with only sides. I would def add more food rather than risk running out.

Are you serving everything together or are you serving the Veggie tray, Fruit and Cheese tray
Chips and Dips before?

Either way, I would increase the chicken because everyone including adults are going to eat them and add a pasta like ziti to the lunch. I would also count on the kids eating the heros so I would add a foot to each.

I would add another dish like others recommended above - especially since many pregnant women don't eat cold cuts.

Enough food?

I think you need more food. I would get two four foot heros and increase the amount of chicken. I agree with adding a hot dish like sausage and peppers or baked ziti. I would also check with your SIL and see if she eats cold cuts bc none of the woman I know ate them during pregnancy. Also, double check that none of your guests have dietary restrictions- someone on a gluten free diet has a choice of salad, potato salad, and cheese.

Re: Enough food?

Lately I have been ordering my heroes uncut and cutting them myself with my electric knife. I find people want to have a few different things, so I cut my hero thinner than the deli does so people can eat a slice of hero and plenty of other things. I would add to the order as well...I would rather have too much than too little or just enough.

I don't think it's enough. Personally I would add a pasta or adult chicken, franchisee or parm. I'm not a fan of hero's either, especially for a baby shower.
