G-mail - I need help - Missing email

I am pretty computer savvy but Gmail is just frustrating.

I have "missing" email.

For example, I am getting a website done. I got an email 2 days ago from the web developer with a link to the page on their server.

Today it does not show up on email.

If I SEARCH for "Annie" (the name of the developer) It comes up. otherwise it does not "exist" in my email.

I do NOT have conversations on.

I don't have anything going into folders (rules?).

I did not delete it.

It just does not show up in my inbox.

Any insight would be really appreciated.

You might have accidentally archived the emails. Try moving them back to the inbox and see if that works.

Yes, I agree. It might be archived accidentally.

I know lots of people love it, but... I'm learning to hate gmail lol.

You may be able to see it if you click on "All Mail" on the left. Or you can just search for it like you did before. When you open it, if it is archived, there will be an option at the top to Move to Inbox. Click that and you should be good.
