GM cars effected by incorrect gas mileage
We got our letter in the mail offering us a debit card or extended warranty for our 2016 traverse.
When i clicked on the info, i see there are 2 class action suits pending. By taking one of these offers it seems we are agreeing to not take further action. someone suggested we dont take this payment and wait it out to see the outcome.
In my opinion, its like found money so why not take it?
just wondering others opinions

I'd take the money. Class actions are notorious for paying out very little to the victims because the attorneys get such a large amount. I literally got a settlement check for $.38 cents once. It cost them more to mail me the check then it was even worth.

This. My DH works in class actions and you will not get much.

The last class action suit I was involved in paid me $1.32

If you plan to keep the car long term see how much the extended warranty is worth. It might be more than the debit card and after all the problems I just had with a car right after the regular warranty expired I would consider an extended warranty on any car I planned to keep long term.

It says online that it's only the 2016 Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave or GMC Acadia
