Donating Baby Stuff?

Anyone have any ideas of where to donate used baby items?

There was this place for homeless/runaway pregnant teens 16-21 that I really wanted to donate too... but they rudely told me they were inundated with items and didn't want to take any of it.

So now I feel weird about trying other places, looking for recommendations first.

Re: Donating Baby Stuff?

I donated all of my baby items (high chair, exer saucer, bouncy seat, toys, etc) to my daycare.

Mercy Center in Patchogue. Or the group Long Island Angels- they have a FB page and multiple drop off locations.

Also Life Center of LI. They are always so grateful for anything. Equipment, formula, diapers, clothes up to 3T.

try Room To Grow, they are located in NYC but many of the mothers to be are lower income, first time mom.

I am going blank on the name right now, but I used them many times for clients, there is an prg on LI I think based in Huntington that will accept used baby items.

I'll try and find out.
