Unless you want to cut out travel to all of the Caribbean, Central and South America for the foreseeable future, I would still go. We have a trip scheduled for August and while we will use lots of bug spray I am not going to get paranoid about it. Likely by August it will be all over the US as well. We happened to be vacationing in Mexico the week swine flu broke out in full force and we rushed home and were all stressed out. That is the last time I will overreact to media hype. I say since you are not pregnant and your children are not small infants you should go and enjoy!
Just saw on the news this morning that they are already making plans to spray here as it's definitely coming here. So unless you plan to hide in your house for the rest of your life, it really is hard to avoid. I wouldn't change any travel plans unless i was pregnant or TTC

ITA. It will most likely hit FL first and I'm sure people will still be going to Disney and Universal and the beaches. I think they expect it on LI sometime in the summer. Of course, if I was PG or TTC, I wouldn't go even if it is coming here - avoid as long as possible. But otherwise I see no reason to do so at this point.
