Sleep help 11 month old/ how much sleep
So my 11 started sttn at 9 months . I put her down at 945-720. She naps once from 1030 or 11 - 1. It's not enough Sleep for her but if I put her down earlier she just wakes up Earlier then needs a nap by 10 and still refuses an afternoon nap. I would love to Put her down at 830 but she will literally then be up At 6 am. 9 hrs overnight and 2 hr during the day is a grumpy baby. Ideas? How much sleep was your 1. Yr old getting and needing Thanks!

Sleep help 11 month old/ how much sleep
By a year my DS was down to one nap. His overnight sleep would be roughly 9 - 6 am. The nap would be anywhere from 1.5-3 hrs depending on the day.

DS would sleep 7:30-5:45-6 when he was 12 months and did not regularly sttn. At 12-14 months, he napped twice a day for a total of 1.5-2.5 hours. Around 14.5 months, he transitioned to one nap and would nap for 1-3 hours.

Re: Sleep help 11 month old/ how much sleep
My ds just turned 1. He usually sleeps from about 8:30pm - 6:30am, then I feed him & he goes back to sleep for another hour or two & is up for the day about 8:30 or 9am. Then he naps about 2 hours in the afternoon usually.

Sleep help 11 month old/ how much sleep
DD just turned 1 - she goes down around 7:30PM and wakes up at 6AM. On the weekends, if I bring her into our bed after she wakes up, she'll usually go back to sleep until 7:30/8AM. During the week, that's not an option due to our schedules. She takes one nap a day from 12-2ish.

Re: Sleep help 11 month old/ how much sleep
Not sure what kind of advice you're looking for. IMO 1pm-9:45pm is way too many hours of awake time for 11 months old.
If you're saying her current sleep schedule isn't enough sleep, then you need to help her sleep more, without making her overtired. Overtired babies aren't fun!
My 11 month old basically sleeps 8pm-6:15am (when we wake her for day care). On her own she sleeps until 7:30ish. She usually takes one short nap during the day and one longer nap. Never more than 3 or 4 hours of awake time between naps.
For your scheduled 8:30pm-6am sounds great. Then try her for a nap around 9am, and again around 2pm. I don't think your baby sounds ready for 1 nap/day since she's taking that first nap 3 hours after waking up. She needs to stretch closer to 5 hours to get down to 1 nap/day. Plus, if she's cranky, she's telling you she needs more sleep.

Re: Sleep help 11 month old/ how much sleep
My DS is just about 11 months. I put him down around 9-930 and he sleeps until about 7. He barely naps during the day at all. He might take a 20 minute cat nap here and there but otherwise he doesn't give anyone a break!

Re: Sleep help 11 month old/ how much sleep
My DD is 10 months and she still wakes up 1x a night (usually around 1, sometimes earlier). We put her down at around 8pm, wakes up in the middle of the night at some point, and then is usually up for the day by 6-630. She takes two main naps, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, sometimes after she comes home from daycare she is tired and will sleep on the way home but we wake her up shortly after so she is able to go to bed at a normal time.
