Teething and diarrhea?
I thought that teething and diarrhea often went hand in hand, with the possibility of teething causing a diaper rash, as well. I read a lot of stuff online that says this correlation is an old wives tale and they're not connected (including info from the American Academy of Pediatrics). What's your personal experience? Did you DD/DS have loose BM/diaper rash while teething?

Re: Teething and diarrhea?
My daughter had some teething diapers when her teeth were breaking through, she also spit up more bc of the excess saliva. Good luck!

Absolutely a correlation in my experience. Cold like symptoms when they're cutting a tooth too. I think they kinda have to say they're unrelated bc some people probably have taken it a bit too far and brushed off more serious illnesses as teething when they weren't.

Re: Teething and diarrhea?
i saw a correlation between teething and looser, fouler smelling dirty diapers.

Teething and diarrhea?
We had a correlation for sure. Softer, messier diapers when cutting teeth. And a diaper rash for a couple of days. Lots of drool.

Teething and diarrhea?
Yep it is due to the excess saliva they swallow.
