We still have the emergency travel potty in the trunk. He'd use that. She has a bladder of steel so it hasn't happened yet, but that's his plan.

I would not want DH to let her go in alone. I would rather her see male anatomy from a distance in passing if it happens while safe in her Dad's arms then from some perv hiding in the bathroom stall. Extreme and unlikely I know but you just can't trust anyone or anything.

Dad taking girl is different from mom taking boy (yep... Urinals).

But... DH still takes DD who is 4.
He will take her for a while.

He would take her into the mens room. Even at Friendly's where the concern really wouldn't be getting kidnapped or anything but my main concern is germs lol. When we have to use public bathrooms my kids literally just stand there while I'm the one who carefully lines the toilet with toilet paper before they sit, I pick them up and put them on it while saying numerous time "Keep your hands in your lap" otherwise they naturally feel the need to hold onto the seat , then I flush for them with my foot because again they would use their hands. So for that reason alone I wouldn't send my kids in alone even if I was directly outside.
