Storing Dress Up...

Any suggestions on how to store dress up? I don't have room in DD's closet and they're currently in a basket but it's messy and very unorganized. DD will take everything out to find the dress (and accessory!) she wants..

THANKS!

I hung Command hooks on one of her walls in her bedroom, put the dresses on hangers and now it's like her own little dressing area. I have all the dress up shoes and accessories in a bin right next to it.

I bought a long white wooden bar with silver hooks on it and all her dresses and pocket books hand from it. Then underneath I have a stool with her name on it and on the stores I have storage for the shoes and accessories. The stool makes a shelf so I don't keep anything on the floor. Everything is her height so she can clean up. And it looks really cute too.

That sounds really cute. I had to google command hooks :( DD has almost all the pricesses (it was just her bday) so I'm afraid it would take up the entire wall!

Re: Storing Dress Up...

I took an old bookshelf and made my neice a 'wardrobe' -
I painted it, put sparkley knobs on one side for necklaces, etc. and a mirror on the other side and a bar in the bookshelf to hang the dresses -
My sister has it in her bedroom (my niece's room, not my sister's Chat Icon )

I'm on their site now looking at the different hooks. Did you do the peg boards?

OOoh that makes sense. I don't see anything like that on their site but thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to shop around.

Re: Storing Dress Up...

I have three really big and pretty butterfly hooks from cocalo. Her dresses are on hangers on those. We hung them behind her door. I drape the accessories over the hangers.
