frozen breast milk
would milk from say, november, still meet the nutritional needs of my baby now? or does the composition of it change as they grow?

frozen breast milk
I think it's fine. I maybe wouldn't give it all day long but for one or two feedings I think it's no big deal. That's not even that long ago!

Re: frozen breast milk
I found this online for you. I am using frozen breastmilk for DD starting next week as I am returning to work :( I froze it in August and it's been in a deep freezer.
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the many variables of storing breast milk safely include the type of refrigerator or freezer you have, and where you place the milk in it:
Frozen breast milk stays fresh for two weeks in a refrigerator that has a single door to the freezer and refrigerator compartments.
In a refrigerator that has a separate door to the freezer, frozen breast milk lasts for 3 to 6 months.
And in a deep freezer or chest, frozen breast milk keeps for 6 to 12 months. (A deep freezer keeps breast milk fresh longer because you generally don't open it as frequently as you do a refrigerator that has a freezer.)

Thank you so much for sharing :)
I'm more concerned with if the nutritional value changes as the baby grows.. If milk for a newborn is 'enough' for a 5-6 month old. Not sure if it changes.

It's not ideal due to the compositional changes, which is why you should use fresh whenever possible. But it's still the best of any alternatives :)

Yes, me too. I posted the chart because the milk stays intact when frozen for that long. I did this with my older daughter and the milk was fine...she was totally healthy.

I don't think the question was if the milk is fresh...more if "newborn" milk will satisfy her older baby
