Boys and waking up with wet jammies
My DS is 7 months old and in size 3 diapers. They fit him perfectly and have a little room to grow.
Every morning he wakes up soaked in the front. I never had this issue with DD.
Do other mommies of boys have this issue? If so, how did you resolve it?
I don't want to size up the diapers because then they will be too big.
I also change his diaper right before laying him down at 8pm and I try to point his pee pee down in the hopes that he's not wetting the same spot over and over again.

Any time we had an issue with nighttime leakage, we went up a size just for overnights. That always did the trick!

Re: Boys and waking up with wet jammies
we had the same problem with our son...never with our daughter. we use huggies overnights (instead of his usual daytime diapers), we also went up a size AND put a diaper liner on him every night. The combo seems to do the trick!

Around that age, we had the same issue. I put my DS into overnight diapers and he no longer leaked through. He stopped needing nighttime diaper around 9 months.

Do you point his peesh down when you change his diaper?
The Ped laughed hysterically at my reaction when he told me to do that .........it was like a revelation -

when this started happening we started with huggies overnights, 1 size up and make sure you point the weenie down and fasten the diaper tight and higher in the front!

Boys and waking up with wet jammies
We used Pampers during the day with DS because he would always leak with Huggies. Ironically though the only overnight diaper that kept him dry was huggies overnights. Perhaps trying a different overnight diaper will help.

This exactly! Make sure the front is a little higher and the diaper is tight

I used Pampers Overnights and had to go up a size. You think they'll be too big, but they won't be. I used size 4 overnights and size 3 during the day.

we had/have that issue and my DS is 16 months. What has helped us is the Huggies Overnight. I usually buy a size up. They def help. Make sure it's his pp is pointing down.

We used the extra protection diapers from pampers. We don't have an issue usually then

My dd used to have the same issue. So I switched to overnight huggies in a size up from her daytime size. They were big,but I just made sure to adjust the Velcro tabs tightly, and angled them downwards in the front to prevent leaks out of the leg openings.

Pull the front higher and make sure his penis is facing down. If that doesn't work you might want to size up just for overnights.

I have never seen those.
I went to target and bought overnight diapers in a bigger size. I am going to see if this works.
Pointing the peeshie down is tough - lol!

We had the same issue and moved up to size 4's. And for sleeping it needs to be pampers, the BJ's brand while great during the day just don't cut it for night time - not for 12 hours.

Re: Boys and waking up with wet jammies
Diaper higher in the front for sure.
With DS 1 I used diaper booster pads (also sometimes called diaper doublers) overnight. Not sure when I started them with DS1 - and don't feel the need for them yet with DS2 (6 mos old).

Re: Boys and waking up with wet jammies
My 2 year old has been peeing through quite often lately. So I've been putting a size 4 diaper with a size 5 diaper over it. Sometimes it works, sometimes his pajamas are still a little wet, but it's a lot better than when he just wore the one diaper.
