So we won't see you there! B is a die hard water fan so we were thinking we would go in June/July. The water rides are a must for us.

Make sure you bring towels or a large blanket. People drop those to hold spots on the parade route hours before the parade starts. You plop it down and then just continue what ever you have planned.
They don't allow that anymore. They have signs up saying if items are left unattended for more than 5 mins they will be taken to guest services. They have people walking around the parade route gathering up stuff.
We had season passes and went weekly from May-September. We were there in October as well. It was done every time we were there. When did you see that? I'm guessing it was after October.

Yes it was November. The first time we went last year in June they did that, but now it's not allowed. My kid hates the parade anyway so we didn't care lol.

Re: Sesame Place
We stayed at the Marriott residence inn. it was great, right up the road, free breakfast (food at sesame is gross even if you do character meal). We can't sleep in same room as my kids so having a separate bedroom was a necessity.

That's one of the hotels we are considering. Did you drive to the park or shuttle?

Re: Sesame Place
the sheraton and the new spring hill suites (which is across the street, just the other direction) are the two top rated hotels.
I've stayed at the sheraton during Sandy (we live 8 min from langhorne) and its very nice.
I've heard good things about the Springhill. its only a few years old.

Both are in walking distance? Spring hill has a walkway it says. Sheraton too or would need the shuttle?

Would need the shuttle for Sheraton. It's across the street but not from the entrance. The entrance is around the other side. It's walkable but might take a while with two kids.

We drove, it's 2 minutes up the road and we left the park for lunch anyway. Having our own car was more convenient. We went during the week in mid June when schools were still in session so parking was not an issue.

Sheraton is across a very busy intersection and not really easy to walk across even though its pretty close by. the spring hill is right across from the park and you walk down the sidewalk you'll be on the side of the sesame parking lot and then can cross the street. from that side its way easier.

Thank you eveyerone. I just booked spring hill suites.
Booked breakfast with Elmo. Lunch or dinner stent offered on our dates. Prefer breakfast anyway.
Holding off on the Abby queue thing until we are there and I see if we need it.

Not having to cross that road is great. Are you going during the week or a weekend? We've never had long lines during the week.

Weekend, but in May. Could be hit or miss. I have no problem buying it once were in the park if we need it.
Well also have to take turns. One with dd1 on the ride and one with dd2 waiting. So it may make sense to skip the lines anyway.

Download the app and if you see the park getting crowded buy it from there. Then you go to guest services to pick it up. You will get into the park early with the breakfast dine with me. So you can probably get to the majority of the rides before the park gets super crowded anyway. Hang a right after the dining area that's where the dry rides are.
