I took them to the gym with me this morning and we went swimming. Then we went to costco for ice cream and pizza. I scheduled a bunch of play dates for the week.

Where is everyone taking the kids this week??
Earlier in the week we are going to a local hotel for a "staycation" to swim, etc. and to NYC at the end of the week for Pedal Punk at New Victory. No snow, so our snow tubing plans went out the window, and couldn't find anything else really!

Where is everyone taking the kids this week??
Working half the week- I am off Thurs & Fri. So for most of the week the boys will be in daycare & the girls will be with my parents just like any other week. Thursday we may go somewhere like LICM or Bounce U before coming home to get ready for us to have friends over on Thurs night.

We went to the museum of natural history.
Monday: Brooklyn (my BFF lives there)
Tues: my mom's
Wed; maybe aquarium
Thursday: party at our place
Friday: sleep

We went ice skating yesterday and had a friend holiday party today. The rest of the week I'll fill with play dates but nothing is set in stone yet.

nowhere--- but trying to think of something. Its tough bc i'm a SAHM mom, i only have one DS- he's 5.... SO i take him to all the usual places during the week after i pick him up from his half day preschool. SOOO he's used to going to places on like a random Tuesday when nobody else is there.... so when i take him this week when all the kids are off and its more crowded-- he just doesn't want anything to do with it LOL

I am working all week, so they will be home. I prefer it that way. It's been a crazy 4 days and they have been overwhelmed.
Plus, I am a complete germaphobe and prefer to keep them away from indoor play areas and group playdates this time of year. It's hard enough trying to keep them healthy with school in session. lolol

Just to add to this. We just stayed at the Hyatt Place East End right next door to the Aquarium, and it was GREAT! Their pool is warm, free breakfast, and the rooms are very large. We walked back and forth to the Aquarium, so it was convenient. It was only $100 and I went through Orbitz and got cash back with ebates also. Highly rec. it for a "staycation"

DD is in a separation Mommy and Me class and even though it's break for that class too, they had two additional sessions this week, so I signed her up.
We'll have one playdate and the rest of the week is open.
