Please help me choose a booster seat
DS is growing out of his infant carrier so we are planning to switch him to our 3 yr old DD's convertible seat. We want to buy her a booster with the harness so she can grow with it. The Britax Frontier 90 gets such great reviews but it is so pricey. We need to get two of them. I was looking at the Graco models and it's half the price. If the Britax is that much better, we will just go with that one. So my question is: Britax or Graco(if Graco, which model.)? Thanks!

Re: Please help me choose a booster seat
We are getting the britax pioneer for my dd for dh's car (which is not the primary car), and the frontier eventually for mine (main car).. I have a graco convertible for the grandparents' cars, and we all HATE it. It is flimsy, we still can't get the buckles to easily release despite getting replacements in the recall, and I can never tighten it all the way. I'm actually getting rid of it and getting them roundabouts instead. The experience has completely turned me off of graco. I know a lot of people here like the graco combo boosters, but I'm not going near that brand again.

I'm a big fan of Graco. Great prices and great long lasting seats. They just released a new seat called Tranzitions that got great reviews.
I also like the Graco Argos.

Is your 3yo on the tall side? Or has a long torso? The britax seats are great seats because they have the highest here's slots on the market currently (at 19.5 and 20.5 inches depending on which seat)
The graco seats have 18 inch top harness slots which will get an average height/average torso child to approximately 5-5.5 before they out grow it. That is a decent age for using the seat as a standard belt positioning booster.

Thanks for the replies! I think we are going to go with the Britax. We have always used Britax so we will continue with the booster. I just hate spending so much money for 2 of them

I Personally do not like graco products at all... We have the frontier and my daughter loves it. SO easy to install. I found the tightening strap a little tough though.
