What toys does your one year old love?
Can't believe dd2 is turning one next month! We have a ridiculous amount of toys and a small house so not looking for anything big at all. Anything on the smaller size that keeps your one year old busy?

i dont have a 1 yo yet but i've been researching for DS for christmas (9mo) and bday in march-- here's what people say:

What toys does your one year old love?
Dd isn't a huge fan of the robot
We did a play kitchen for her first and she uses it every day-there's a smaller kidkraft one that doesn't take up much room

My 1 year old was obsessed with:
-books
-musical instrument set (we have egg shakers, tambourine, rhythm sticks, triangle, cymbals, etc.)
-arts and crafts: at that age she particularly loved dot art paint, crayons and painting with water.
-shape sorters
-puzzles
-mozart music cube
-megablocks
-FP laugh and learn music table
-FP dinosaur that pops balls...

By far the biggest hit with my DD at age 1 was the laugh and learn home. Not sure if that would qualify as a big toy. But DD loves it and has played with it almost every day since we got it a year ago.

What toys does your one year old love?
At 1 she loved her shopping cart and stroller and kitchen and would push the first two with a combination of food and baby dolls. Baby dolls she was into a lot too. At about 14mos she was into her trampoline and still is. Thank god Bc I almost got divorced putting it together.

What toys does your one year old love?
We have so many of these which is why it's hard. Kitchen, lnl home, music table, Vtech walker, mega blocks, shopping cart etc. I ended up breaking my own rule of no Vtech and ordering a cute vacuum along with a pounding pench and fp piggy bank. I'll probably save one for xmas and I just saw that scout is on cartwheel today so maybe I'll grab that too. I have to check out the chair everyone suggested.
Btw the laugh and learn home is on clearance for 50 at Tru for anyone that doesn't have it. There's a new version out but the old one is the cutest!

What toys does your one year old love?
those stacking blocks made of cardboard.
that singing tea pot with the smiley face on it.
babies with eyelids that move open & closed, and pretend bottles.
and a little slide in the living room.

In addition to ideas posted above, leapfrog picnic basket and tea set were the hugest hits. And those shape sorter toys. We lived in an apartment at that point, and these gave us the biggest bang for the space!
