I just bought a groupon for jc penney with a 20% coupon it came to $16. The worst that can come of it are the pics are horrible and I take a picture myself with my DLSR or a picture with Santa.
I bought this the other day for $16. I figure even if they aren't great its $16.
I've been to them the past 2 yrs with a groupon and it turned out great. Try to go during the week and it's a lot less hectic.

it annoys me that they do holiday pics in early Oct. When you have an infant or newborn, they will look different/bigger by the actual holidays
Outdoor sessions are usually in Oct because its too cold in nov. Indoors are in early Nov because they need time to edit and get photos to clients in time for cards. Most people want to get them don't TG weekend.

And not all are booked up. Many are just opening their sessions now. :)

This is a dammed if you do,dammed if you don't for a photographer
You advertise early and people get annoyed
Yet people want their pics edited and sent by thanksgiving so they can send out a card
And then you want outdoor but are suprised it's in sept/
oct Well it gets cold in nov
I can't imagine how busy this one of year is for a photographer
