cable vision pricing
What do you pay per month with DVRs and hd? I already have optimum for phone and internet and Direct tv for TV but thinking of getting rid of direct tv

Oh my I'm getting ripped off. I pay 230$ for same package. I hate that every year I have to call and haggle prices.??

cable vision pricing
$215 for 1 DVR and 1 HD Silver package. ultra 50 for internet and regular phone. I called to ask about why my pricing went up and theyre bs line was that the promotion I was under expired and this is the new rate. Total rip off

$230 and I called last year and they wouldn't budge on price. I hate that they give new customers the $130 deal for triple play but not customers who have ben with them forever.
We have 3 boxes and hbo movie channels. (silver?)

It looks like I would be paying the same and I guess will stay with Direct TV. We have three DVRs and three HD tv boxes and two boxes without HD with HBO. We wouldn't be a new customer with Cablevision because we have phone and internet with them as well as pay a monthly fee for a tv box we don't use to get a special rate for internet and phone. When I add what we pay for Direct TV and Cablevision, it seems it will all come out the same. We do like Direct TV, but was looking to see if I can save quite a bit since we are not getting NFL package this year.

I have the same exact package and it's $195!
We were paying around $200 and Fios wasn't available where we lived. When we were moving to our current house, I called Cablevision to cancel service because we were going to switch to Verizon. They gave me this deal locked in for 2 years with no contract. This deal will be up in February--if they jack up my price I will switch to Fios.

I think you would be considered a new customer bc you don't have the triple play right now. It's worth a call to ask them how much it would be. It can't hurt, right?

For some reason we don't pay for the movie channels. We always happen to get a promo that makes it free. Who knows.
