Specific Sesame Place questions...
We are planning on going, and I needed to know... Are there places to sit in between attractions? For me, not the kids In the water park section, is there a dry place in the shade for me to sit with the baby in the stroller? Is there any shade? What's the bathroom situation? Are there plenty?

Yes there are benches. Theres some shades on the sides but a lot is in the sun. Yes there are dry places to sit in the water sections. Bathrooms i dont remember my dd wasnt potty trained at that time i dont recall having an issue when i had to go.
Suggestions: Bring lots of water and snacks bring change of clothes and towel bring a bag for wet stuff get a locker stay for the parade do either breakfast or lunch with the characters- we did lunch and it was totally worth it. Food was good and my dd had a blast. You get to take pics with the characters they sing and dance.

Do you take your own pictures and the dine with characters or you need to pay for them?
We are going 1st time next month so I can't help with op questions but I do suggest an umbrella, we've used in sun and find it helps when you need to break.

Good Advice. There are a decent amount of bathrooms. I never had to wait on a line for a bathroom. We usually do all the wet rides in the morning and than we change out of our bathing suits back into clothes. We usually watch the afternoon parade and than do the dry rides. Bring a big towel kids can sit on it while the parade comes down. You can bring in a cooler with drinks and food. Food in the park is ok not fantastic.

There are lots of benches so plenty of places to sit and if you look you'll usually find some shade in most areas. As far as the water area, when we went during the week it was easy to find a few lounge chairs which are all shaded. When we went on a Saturday there were tons of people standing neat the splash pool and all the chairs were taken. Eventually we got a few chairs but it wasn't easy. The bathrooms are a bit spread out imo but there are plenty so there's never a wait.

You can take your own photos. We always take our own to avoid the insane photo prices.
