Hard stool EVERY time
My poor daughter is the worst eater in the world. Does not eat ANY fruit and very rarely a veggie. She is 4. Every single time she poops it is a struggle (sometimes just for a few seconds, others off and on throughout the day. I use Miralax (as per the doctor) when she doesn't go for a few days. Anyone BTDT? Any suggestions? Should I start Benefiber or something on a daily basis? I remember DS doing that when he was a baby, I had to give it in his bottle. I'll call the doctor on Mon. but just curious what others do. TIA!

Would she drink a smoothie? You can hide fruit and even veggies in their (spinach, kale, avocado)?

Hard stool EVERY time
My younger de is like that. It's awful to watch. She drinks a lot of prune juice (watered down) and I e been given miralax a lot. I give it everyday until she's better then every other then less. On days I do t give miralax I give prune juice.
I have also heard fiber one bars are great.

My Son eats a LOT of cheese. In order to keep things moving smoothly he chases his cheese down with yogurt.

I started giving my son a pro biotic pill called Pro Bio 5.
It's the best pro biotic in my opinion. Now my son, is regular and doesn't have to push so hard while going.
My ds is 3.5 years old. I simply open the capsule and mix the powder in his orange juice in the morning. It's been a god send.

Lots of water, fiber gummies, apple juice, pears, fiber one bars/brownies/cookies, and cut back on the bananas. Will she eat beans?

i would start her on a probiotic. it REALLY helped my DD with her hard stool and constipation. she takes acidophikidz
