Can't...Get...The...$!&#% Toy...Out...Of...The...Box
How and what happened to our society that our toys are so cranked down with bolts, twist ties, toggles, snap tabs? I'm having trouble getting them out without breaking the toy!  the kids are anxious, I'm frustrated, DH thinks he can do it better... Oy the stress!

I feel your pain. Recently a doll has her hair stitched into plastic which was stuck to cardboard. I basically cut some of the hair out bc I couldn't take it anymore.

It's insane! I never got toys that were jumbled In packaging as a kid and we could get them out. I hate the ones that have it all displayed behind plastic and each of the 1000 pieces is bolted down in there 3 ways from Sunday! Just throw them in a box and pit a pic on the box. Kids will still want it and they don't have to wait for me to find scissors, screwdrivers and undo 400 twistie ties and bolts.

Yes!! and the ones where you actually need a screwdriver to get it out? who even thinks to package a plastic toy like that?

Yet at many toy stores, I still see toys ripped out of boxes that are not secured well. People can be terrible! It costs $ to screw lock toys in... The companies must have to do it with some of the patrons being so classy!

It IS annoying! Even with scissors or knives, it's impossible to get done in timely manner (especially with anxious, excited children). For the love of God, I'm trying to get a toy out of a box for my child, not break out a prisoner from Shawshank. lol. WTF?
