Where are the realistic pics on the toy box?
The real ones of kids playing with the toy... Rolling the cars off the tables, up the wall or down the stairs? My boys aren't sitting there nicely taking turns. Sometimes yes then it leads to fighting and wresting over the same toy. I'm talking about the toys for toddlers. Maybe they play with the toys nicer when they get older, but not the toddler toys. Not my 15 month old and 3 yr old. The toys become steps tools to stand on, stuffed animals become crash test dummies, cars get rolled under couches, the game Memory can't be played since half the picture cards are more fun to be stuffed into the baseboard heat... Never saw that on the box or in the commercial. I find toys in my Tupperware and pots drawers. This is reality. At least in my house.

Tell me about it!!! Cartons of eggs and empty cereal boxes should also advertise themselves as the best toy out there!

We were so there with you. We now have a rule. No toys at the table. It helps them with actually sitting down to eat. Another rule is that if a toy is rolled down the stairs and broken, it gets thrown out. If it makes it down in one piece, then it is taken away for a day.

We have a lot of the same rules. It's during playtime that it gets rough. They use the coffee table or I find toys in the dining room, which is also a no. Thank goodness for gates. They do like to throw toys down the basement steps with the age closed. You can't turn your head for a moment. Now the PnP downstairs is a "toys timeout" area.
