Poll for working moms

My field has a high potential for salary. I know quite a few women who make over $200k by about their mid thirties. I work for a very large public accounting / consulting firm. I'm not quite at that mark but hope to be close in a few years!!!!

But I truly believe, money doesn't equate to happiness. If you aren't happy it doesn't matter what you make.

Hi. I am sure you saw my post above!
I work for a large firm too! Are you in audit or tax? So rare to find another mom in my field! Are you able to WFH at all?

I am in the 150-200k range. I am a small business owner and work approximately 25 hrs a week...sometimes 20 :) If I was an employee in my profession I would make much less and ofcourse be working crazy hours.

Hi! I know what you mean. :/

I am at the manager level too. I feel like I am one of the very few with a LO....I'm in tax and WFH maybe 3-4 days per week. But do travel about a night or two a month, some months a little more.

I was making in the 100-150 range before I had DD1. I was working as an attorney full time. I now work part time, and am making half that-- but have much more flexibility.

Fall into the high range here and have worked in finance for 20+ years. I've had ups and downs though getting to this point and even now job security is not strong where I am so you never know when that could change.
