How long non response to an issue before you leave bad feedback on Etsy?
I don't want to leave bad feedback, but I am getting frustrated.
I ordered a special T shirt for DD's birthday and the sizing was WAY off. She ALWAYS wears a girls XS which is a 4/5
I ordered that and it is HUGE. The tag says youth XS but I swear it's like an adult XS. It can almost fit me.
I immediately contacted the seller asking if I can exchange it as the sizing was confusing.
No reply. This was Friday. I reached out again yesterday.
I waited all day today, no reply
I need this shirt for next week so I am thinking of just chalking it up to a loss and getting it from another seller with a rush, but how long is a reasonable amount of time to wait for a reply from a seller?

I always respond to people right away since I get the etsy notifications on my phone. Even on the weekends I always respond within a couple of hours. I've only had 1 issue that turned out to be the buyers fault (she ordered he wrong size knowing her child was on the larger side for a 9 month old) but because she had an issue with the size I made sure to respond as soon as I saw the notifications and sent her a newly made item. I got 5 stars from her once she received the new item for the quality of the item as well as for customer service. Unless it says on her shop page that she doesn't work or respond on the weekends, I would give until the end of today at the latest.

Thanks! I just think it's very poor customer service to not respond. I love to leave good feedback and crow about great customer service, I always do it when I am happy. I hate leaving bad, but it's not right to have deceptive sizing, no notes about it on your page, then to ignore your customers on top if it.

Oh I have no problem leaving a bad review if it's warranted. Funny thing is after being ignored and leaving a bad review all of a sudden I get a response

I left bad feedback and within THREE minutes I get a reply from her.
Claiming she never got my other 2 messages...yet they show up in my sent folder.
And amazing how quickly she got them when the negative feedback hit.
Gotta love it!
I told her if we can just rectify it, I will remove my negative feedback.
Sometimes I really hate Etsy!

Yeah, of course she never received your last 2 messages and she just happened to see your negative feedback.  I hope she is going to rectify this for you!

I don't understand everyone's reluctance to leave negative feedback.
There's a difference between bashing someone into the ground, and leaving a a less than 5 start review for a negative experience.
I'm sorry, but IMO, if you're going to be running a "business" and charging people their hard earned money for your product, whatever it may be - you treat it like a business, and you deliver on a deadline.
You need to learn to manage your time and priorities .........otherwise, stick to your hobby, but don't try to CHARGE me for it.
I've have had multiple bad experiences on that site.

That isn't possible.
If the seller refunded you and cancelled the transaction, you cannot leave feedback, and I believe the feedback is automatically deleted. Etsy has a really stupid system. It's not like ebay.

She might have canceled the transaction out after it went through and I left the feedback because it's not on her page.

I love Etsy but I've also had bad experiences here and there, I do make sure to leave reviews whether they're positives or negatives. If I've had a bad experience, I'll make sure to reach to the vendor to address the issue, and would allow a few days to get a response, but if I don't hear back, I'll def make sure to leave a very detailed review about it about everything that happened, even if they do get back to me, I'd also write about that and how they addressed the issue.

Isn't it annoying that it has to come to that??
That you have leave bad feedback in order for someone to do the right thing and answer you?
Why, when you sent two nice emails, couldn't she answer you then?
SO annoying!!
