They do call people in alphabetical/numerical order. I know someone that had a letter D and had to go in on a Friday.

OK! thanks!
so in one week they would start at A and go through each letter?
Does anyone know how many numbers per letter?

jury duty question

Sometimes they do skip sections. Say they might tell A001 through A100 to come in Monday morning, tell A101 through A200 to call back tomorrow and then tell A202 through A300 to come in on Monday afternoon. Don't know why they do that sometimes but they do. But they do go in order when calling numbers - they higher your number the better chance your summons will expire before they need you.
