Do sandboxes attract stray cats?
or other animals if you keep one in your yard?

I can't directly answer your question but we have a cover for ours as to keep those big animals out. Also, we had some bugs in there and I did some research and found that ground cinnamon will help deter bugs so I got one of those big tubs of cinnamon from Costco and mixed it in the sand. It seems to help and makes it smell good too.

We have a stray cat issue in our neighborhood. We've had a covered sandbox for 3 years. Not one issue. Agree with the cinnamon though. It truly does help with other bugs
