LI Bachelorette Party with new mom
Hi ladies,
Hoping maybe I can get some ideas and help... one girl will be 3 weeks post partum... so I'm in a wedding party with everyone from different states, wedding is here though. Bachelorette party is going to be in July on a Wednesday before the wedding, due to when the bride can fly up. She really wants a hibachi place- since her mother and 13 year old sister are coming, might be fun for them. Then maybe a comedy club after, but not in the city since its a work night. What is around here like that?
Also, what other ideas can anyone suggest? She was thinking pole dancing or something fun if her sister goes in after dinner. Prob not a good idea for the girl who just had a baby though. Anything Nassau or Suffolk is fine, she just requested its not based around drinking, although she doesn't mind if we drink.
Please help! TIA

For Hibachi I would do Shiro in Westbury. But if that location isn't good maybe just google hibachi restaurants near the zip code you will be near.
For comedy clubs, I would suggest McGuire's/Governor's. They get a lot of good talent. I have a lot of (famous) comedian friends and they do gigs there.

I think hibachi and then the comedy club after sounds perfect. This way if the new mom wants to get home to the baby after dinner she can and everyone else can go on to the club. I also liked the spa day suggestion from a PP.

Samarai in Huntington is a nice Hibachi place and they have Karaoke on Wednesday nights!
I would call to make sure about the karaoke just in case, but I drive by there all the time and think to myself, wow I wish I could go out on a random Wednesday for some hibachi and karaoke. lol
