daycares with late hours/suffolk
Does anyone know of daycares around smithtown area that have late hours? i.e. 7 pm
i find that many daycares close at 6, 6:30 latest..

Oh shoot yeah I don't think the ones I know of go that late...
Did you ask at BEST Learning Center??
I know they had later hours than most but I forget if it was that late.
I had looked there and they seemed wonderful.
Sometimes, what you can do, is hire a sitter to pick up from the center and bring home, get started on baths and dinner so that you can work within the center's hours. I know it's tough 
I have two amazing sitters who do this that I can recommend, if that helps.

I agree with above. I've actually never heard of any daycare centers that are open past 6:30. Finding an in-home daycare with more flexible hours might be a better option, or just hiring a sitter (or arranging with a family member) to pick kiddo up for those later hours could work.

Did you try any tutor time? My daycare I am pretty sure is open till at least 7 but mine is in Nassau

See, my Tutor Time is not. It's 630 am to 630 pm. I think they all have their own hours, so you should probably call a few in your area.
