Making large quantities of powdered formula....

I bought the Dr. Browns formula pitcher based on the recs of many people here. To make an entire 32 ounce pitcher, I know I'd use 16 level unpacked scoops of formula. Does anyone know if that is equivalent to another measurement? For example, rather than putting in 16 scoops, is that equivalent to 1 cup, a 1/2 cup, etc? I figured I'd ask here before I play/use trial and error and get powder all over my counters and dirty all my baking measuring cups

i think it may depend on the fomrula you are using (not sure if they all have the same size scoop)

I called up enfamil one day to find that out...of course they encourage you to use their scoop to ensure perfect measurement etc...but I told them dh threw the scoop away and i wasnt going to get to the store til the next day so i needed some sort of help. They gave me the equivalent of the scoop in tablespoons

I measured out the required # of scoops into a bowl and then used measuring cups to figure how much it is. Did not take long and then I made formula.
I did the mixing for about a month. then I just made bottles as the day went by. Life was so much easier that way.

I use the pitcher and just count scoops.
