I need a great boy baby shower gift

Any really fun, different ideas for a boy baby shower gift? Something themed? My SIL made me an amazing holiday themed basket at my shower. Outfits and bibs for every holiday the entire year and then the center of the basket was all clothes for every month. It was awesome and gorgeous. Just found out she is having a boy so I guess the hair clip/ headband wreath I was going to make her is out lol I need some good, different ideas! Help me!!

I do a clothes line of baby holiday bibs. It comes out cute.
You can do an outfit and bib too.
I buy bibs thought the year when I rwmember and then I buy the rest on the ebay

Honestly one of my favorite things I received for my son was a diaper cake because you always need diapers. A good friend of ours has a baby on the way and I will be making a huge diaper cake with a bunch of little odds and ends added onto it. I'm also doing a few other things to add to it.

In the past I've done:
*mealtime basket - spoons, bibs, burp clothes, bottles, bowls, etc. anything the baby would need for a meal
*color themed basket (I did pink for my friend having a girl, but you could do blue or green) - clothes, stuffed animal, blanket, book
*bath time basket - tub, bath towels, wash clothes, lotion, bath toys, shampoo/body wash

I usually buy the diaper bag and fill it with tons of stuff - everybody loves it!

i'm making a "very hungry caterpillar" diaper cake

i bough a green plate to put it on, got ribbons to match, and got the board book, the soft newborn book, and the caterpillar stuffed toy to put on the cake.

i am also putting one of her outfits into the middle of the cake, and making "roses" out of socks to put on top.


i love giving books as gifts for baby showers and figured this would be a cute way to do it.

what about a holiday book basket? books for each of the holidays?

Last year my best friend had a baby boy. I bought her the radio flyer wagon ( for when he is older) and filled it with stuff - diapers, boxes of wipes, bibs, toys, blankets, outfits. I wish I had a picture of it. I thought it was a good combo of fun and practical.

My SIL made a diaper motorcycle and put a big soft "my first teddy bear" on top for my shower. She even attached a little paper license plate with baby's last name on it. It was really cool looking and a nice spin on your basic diaper cake. I don't have any pictures of it on this computer but it looked something like this. She also gave me a diaper bag filled with onesies and other supplies.

If they are into sports, how about a basket filled with onesies, jerseys, bibs, beanie babies of their favorite teams? My friend just opened a rangers and mets one at her shower, and it was awesome!

Will you know the name? I just recently made letters for the wall for my friend in a Winnie the Pooh theme. Also, the book The Little Boy Who Lost His Name is personalized and adorable!!! And I also made my friend a picture in a frame with the alphabet in green except for the J being blue and bold. Then the bottom said "is for James" - all of these are easy to make (or you can pay to have them made if you're not crafty).
