My kids seem to change and must be a mix because different people can pull out a picture and prove they look like each of us. My youngest looks just like my DH, but I think all three look alike in pictures from when they are younger. The younger two have my husband's coloring (very distinct hair color) and build (stocky and shorter torso/legs) but my older dd has my hair color and build (tall and lanky).

DH side of the family claims he looks just like him.
DH says when he moves his head a certain way, he's all me.
I say he looks just like my brother.

He does have DHs lips. Beautiful pouty lips.
His nose is a mix.
His hair has my color, but will definitely have DHs texture in a few more years. I'm jealous of his hair! Blond, and thick, and wavy.

Mostly, I think he looks like himself. But to me, looks come very much from personality. and boy does DS have personality!

My 4 year old DS came out looking exactly like my brother. It was weird. Then he changed after his first year and now he is my husbands clone. His twin sister came out looking like my husbands side of the family and now is a mixture of both. My 2 year old is mostly me but I see a little bit of my husbands side.

I think he looks like both of us & like neither of us at the same time. He has features of both but doesn't strongly resemble either, in my opinion, but maybe enough so that if there were 10 kids in a room, you'd probably guess that he was ours.

Some people tell us he looks exactly like DH. Other people say he looks nothing like DH. Some people say he looks exactly like me. Other people say he looks nothing like me. I think he's a mix of us. At isolated moments, he looks like different people... sometimes my brother, sometimes DH's brother... it's really weird how that works.

I CAN'T WAIT to see what this new baby will look like.

One twin looks just like me but with DHs hair and skin color. The other is him with my hair and skin color. They don't look much alike at all.

My kids have shifted through the years. My older ds used to look just like DH, but the older he gets, the more and more he looks like me. My younger one is the opposite. His fancy pictures looked so similar to mine. But I think he's looking more and more like my DH.

My kids look like my side - My older son, people say is my twin, but I don't see it - I think he looks like my Mom/Grandma.
My younger one looks like my sister, who looks like my Dad, but she and I resemble each other .......it's so strange how family resemblences work.
I see some of DH's brother in my little guy sometimes too -
And sometimes my older son will make a face and he's EXACTLY me, or EXACTLY DH .........

My DD is all my DH. She looks just like him. Their baby pics are like looking at twins. I am hoping with the second one I get a shot at the gene pool but I doubt it.

My oldest dd looks exactly like my mom! Baby photos are identical. She looks nothing like my dh or I. Blonde hair and blue eyes and dh and I both have dark hair dark eyes.

My youngest dd is all me! Side by side photos my dad couldn't tell which was me and which was my dd. even our hair color is exact.

Me with Asian eyes. :) Unless you see photos of me as a kid you can't tell, but once you do.. she's a mirror image. But when she's around his family of course everyone says him. And since not that many girls with Asian background here, you know folks assume him and not me. But I think she's got the best of both of us.
