8 year old boys and bathing
Does your 8 year old bath every day or every other day?

I had an 8 yr. old boy and he bathed every other day unless he got very dirty.

In the winter, every other day, but in the summer daily. Unless he got dirty, muddy, then daily in the winter too. He washes himself, but I still wash his hair. I am trying to get him to wash his hair himself. Ds is 7 1/2.

8 year old boys and bathing
My DS is 9 and has always bathed every day (except as an infant). He's a very active boy and is always playing outside and getting dirty.

Ditto. DS will be 6 next month and showers everyday. I wash his hair every other day unless needed, but he gets washed everyday. School, sports, the bus, play dates, etc.
