Gerber good start formula?
Does the gerber good start come ready to feed ? The pediatrician suggested this formula when DS is finished with the breast milk. But she also said not use the powder. I went to three stores and only see powder.

I always fed my baby from 4 weeks on powder. But they do make ready to feed. It comes in either 3 oz bottles or 8oz containers. They sell at Babies R Us, Target, BBB, Amazon. I think Babies R Us has a sale now.

I was a big fan of Earth's Best Organic Sensitive Formula.
I don't think there is a big difference between powder and ready to feed. It's a personal preference. I preferred the powder.

Correct. LOVE this formula! After 7 different kinds at 4 months old, DS loved the Gerber Good Start Gentle. I buy the powder and have the formula mixer pitcher to make enough for the day.

Re: Gerber good start formula?
Why in the world would the ped tell you not to use the powder? That's ridiculous. As a PP stated, they sell it in 8oz containers, as a 4-pack. I keep them on hand as a back up, if I'm going out since it does not need to be refrigerated. DS takes the Good Start Gentle (or Soothe)...I forget what it's called; but we use the regular Good Start RTF when necessary.
