BF/pumping moms, questions about getting period
I am almost 6 weeks pp. I have been pumping while DS is in the NICU.
Last week i started to wean off the pumping. I am down to four times a day now.
My question is, when did you get your first period?
And can I still go to my 6 week pp checkup if I am bleeding?

DD is 7.5 months and I still haven't gotten my period. Since I'm back at work now, I BF 1-2 times per day and pump twice per day.

I EBF until DD was 13 1/2 months and I pumped at work/nursed while home and didn't get AF back until 10 1/2 months PP.

I pump and nurse But i do supplement too. I got mine back 4 weeks exactly after giving birth (and at that time I wasn't supplementing at all!!!)

So there is obviously no rhyme or reason to when AF could return.
Do I cancel my OB appointment for tomorrow ?

Yes you would still go. They have to make sure you're healing properly and talk to you for a bit to make sure you don't have any PPD symptoms.

DD is 10 weeks and still no period. I really thought I was getting it a couple of times b/c I had period cramping but it never came. I'm not back to work yet so I nurse all day/night.
