usually depends on the car but passenger side seems to always best sometime middle

Where ever the car seat fits best. Some people get stuck on the middle being the safest seat but if your car seat doesn't install correctly in the middle it's not the safest seat.

Middle, using the seat belt. LATCH is no safer than the seat belt. I always read that middle is safest.

Behind passenger. It's easiest to take her out without worrying about traffic if I have to park on the side of the road.

Read the manual that belongs to your car and car seat... They will tell you where the best spot is.
