More Car Seat Questions - about your Convertible Car Seat.

Where do you have it placed in your car - we put mine in the middle - although the infant was on the passenger side and it just seems like it's going to be so hard to get him in and out! Is it really hard? I also hate that with it in the middle - I really can't reach him at all from the driver's seat.

We also took down the mirrors based on the advice from the firefighters who installed it. Although, we are pretty sure we are going to put them back up I KNOW it's considered a hazard but I'm kind of freaked at not being able to see him at all, esp since I can't reach him at all.

So, who has their car seat in the middle and who has a mirror up?

OUrs is on the side but, we have the mirror up.

Due to the angle of the carseat though, it's not as easy to see DS as it was with the infant seat. He likes to look at himself though.

ETA - In IL's car, DS' seat is in the middle . When I put him in, I usually sit on the passenger side and strap him in.

In both of our trucks (and in my parents car) it's behind the passenger seat. I have a mirror in my truck, but we don't have them in the other 2 cars.

The car seat is in the middle in one of our cars and behind the passenger's seat in another. We've never had mirrors for DS in the car.

We have ours on the sides because we have 2 car seats but we do have the mirror up. It's secured pretty darn good if you ask me and i think i would be more worried about something in my trunk or the rest of the truck becoming a projectile object in the event of a car crash than the mirror being. IMO
