Best Party Favor
I know it's been asked, but trying to get ideas for DS's Despicable Me party. I like to get one good one I know kids will use.
For DS1's 5th birthday it was superhero so I bought those big water shooters then printed out a different superhero symbol and wrote under it about thanking them for coming and to go "soak" the bad guys. A lot of friends liked it bc kids always love those in the summer.
Last year I gave out hooded towels (wasn't a huge party so got about 10.
From other parties I've loved a GC to Ritas in a cup with different colored paper in the cups to make it look like ice-cream. It was adorable and we definitely used it. 
Any other 1 party favor idea without spending a fortune?
Recently for DS2 we got a Peppa Pig book. The boys LOVE that one.
Any other ideas or favors you've loved or done?

I know the kids love bags full of little stuff, but as a mom I dislike taking them home.
For DD's bday I think we are doing a box of chalk, a balloon, and an edible cookie.

I agree... Only thing with the small stuff is it is played with that day and never looked at again. Something breaks or gets lost and I toss it. Especially the little candy and other small toys like plastic rings, small plastic dinosaur, etc.

We just had a despicable me party, but they kids were mostly 2 year olds. We put tattoos, stickers, and fruit snacks in the goody bag along with twinkies "dressed" as minions (Google Twinkie minions- there are so many ideas).
I printed liitle tags that said "thanks a minion" to go along with them.

Here's the favor I did for the superhero one. I figured if anyone needs ideas. I got the water shooters at Five Below and made the symbols that were so easy playing around with the superhero symbol and writing under it. I did Batman and Spiderman as well. Image Attachment(s):

My friend did wiffle ball & bats for the kids one year. She got them at the $ store. I thought it was a great favor.
Last year my Son had a cars theme party. I gave out Cars theme Crayola color wonder for the kids. I got them at Toys r Us when they were having a bogo free sale. They came out to $3 each. Kids loved them.

I did Minion cookies from the cookie lady and gave out bubble wands in blue and yellow. They were .97 at Walmart.

My personal recent favorite has been a lego activity that you could take home as a favor. The host had tons of special lego pieces. Each kid got a figurine and could take as many accessories and legos to build a vehicle.
Our kids enjoyed getting watches and angry bird games as favors.
Some people have told me they like our favors:
3rd bday party - beach bucket with bubble gun
4th bday party - kites and easter baskets filled with special eggs with toys inside
5th bday party - ninja light up swords with ninja treat bags with ninja headbands and light up badges

I loved, and still use the hard plastic reusable sandwich containers I got. The host use paint pens to personalize them for each kid.

My kids recently got and loved build your own wooden model kits. They made a wooden helicopter and toy plane.
A karate party we went to recently gave ninja headbands, foam numchucks (sp?), and personalized engraved medals to each kid (that said "Jake - MVP of Danny's 5th Birthday Party"). I thought it was really cute.
