Best goodie bag/party favor you've ever gotten at a kid's party?
I feel like most of the goodie bags DD gets at party are just full of candy or little toys that break within a day. Looking for something different, even if it's just one item instead of a bag of goodies. This would be for the 3-5 year old range.

Anything edible (and not necessarily candy...small bags of pretzels, pirates booty, annie's crackers or fruit bunnies).
For DD's 3rd bday at Pump It Up we gave everyone a pair of Ya Gabba Gabba socks to run around the party in. lol.

The best we've gotten was a sippy/snack cup. I try to give good favors that people can use. I got a steal on fleece character blankets from the Disney store for my DS party. They were 20 blankets (red Cars ones for the boys, purple Tinkerbell ones or the girls) for about $5.50.

Best one was for a first bday party. The entertaiment was Elmo. After the dancing Elmo took pics with the kids individually and then the host had them printed and put them in frames. Loved the idea. This was a few years ago and I still have the picture of DS with Elmo out.
Also got a Rita's ice cup filled with colored tissue paper to make it look like ices and on the bottom of the cup was a giftcard to Ritas. LOVED that one too! Def something you will use.
Shovel and pails are always big for me. Even though we collect them they never go to waste. If one breaks or gets left at the beach it's not a big deal.

Just had DS's 1st birthday a couple of weeks ago and his favors were little beach pails filled with little stuff like sunglasses, sidewalk chalk, a personalized mickey print out that said "thank you for coming, love 'LO'", crayons, bubbles and temporary tattoos.
They were cute.

I agree. Sippy cups for that age range are great.
There are a ton on sale at the Disney Store right now for between $3-$5.

We did something similar. Large personalized beach pails and shovels, with a beach ball, bubbles, sunglasses, and a sand toy.

Best goodie bag/party favor you've ever gotten at a kid's party?
I gave out really cool water guns at my toddlers 2nd birthday party (all the cousins are older) and it was a huge hit. They were about 4.50 each, pump action, long range guns. DH filled some buckets with water and we handed them out early on at the party, the kids went nuts. It kept them busy the whole time.

DD is turning 3 and we are throwing an arts and crafts party. Favors are small 4x4 art canvases with 2 paintbrushes and a personalized (iron on) art apron. I usually do goody bags and wanted to do something different.

A couple of years ago the christmas tree shop had towels with hoods for around $4....everyone LOVEd them, and still use them!

We just did something along these lines for DS's Baptism... We used beach pails with shovels and filled them with Goldfish snacks, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, a pinwheel, Play-doh, a Slinky, crayons and a coloring book and a beach sand toy.

I just bought little ice cream cups with spoons that look like little ice cream cones. Adorable and not expensive from Star Trax in Farmingdale.

A Thermos water bottle. Hands down best favor we received.
Melissa Doug craft set..this was cute also. Sidewalk chalk, bubbles, bucket. I almost always throw the candy out. 90% of the time it's candy I would never even think of giving my 3 year old.
